I participated in my first live art event of the year - social distancing and mask required. I had metal stamped a few copper earrings that said, "VOTE. A woman I now have been introduced to named Amy bought a pair. She asked if she could take a photograph to send to her daughter who is a Boston Law Student. I received a text after Amy left the show asking if I could make ten pendant's for her daughters fellow law study group. When she sent me the photo of these young people, I was surprised at the emotional reaction I had. I found this quote from Harry Emerson Fosdick, "Democracy is based upon the conviction that there are extraordinary possibilities in ordinary people." These young people and many others are our future leaders, they made me feel proud and hopeful.
Here is the pendent journey which continues to grow with new requests from my facebook page. I'm hopeful when these young people receive their VOTE necklaces they will send me a photo!

That is just fantastic! What a wonderful way to encourage these young activists! i have a pair of Robin’s “VOTE” earrings and love them!
I was really delighted and proud to make these! Thank you for your comment.
How great that the art and heart made a connection! I am sure they will proudly wear you pieces.
