I'm a retired teacher who went rogue upon retirement.

I've always loved jewelry or anything with texture and color. Discovering the skills and technique involved in becoming a metal-smith has been an exciting challenge. I have a very eclectic nature so using a variety of materials appeals to my curiosity.

I just purchased a kiln which should elevate my enameled jewelry. Enameling on fine silver or copper adds a beautiful, colorful glossy element while still being organic and unique.

The blog is a whole new element. Like everything else I've learned it will ebb and flow and develop like me.... over time! Maybe with a glass of wine.
