Whimsical Wanderer Earrings  in copper enamel.  First a layer of white glass was painted onto the surface and allowed to dry. Next the “sgraffito” technique was used which simply means to scratch through the surface drawing a design. Layers of transparent glass were next applied in Peacock and Lime Yellow then torch fired  to reveal the scratched pattern.  Four layers of glass was sifted and fired with a torch to achieve this color palate.  Counter enamel on the back balances the weight of the glass on the front. 
Paired with sterling silver copper ball earring wires. Dangling 1.25” in length. Lightweight 24 gauge copper.  
Treat as glass.  Unique and handcrafted.
