Sunburst Earrings in copper enamel.  First a layer of white glass was painted onto the surface and allowed to dry. Next the “sgraffito” technique was used which simply means to scratch through the surface drawing a design. Layers of transparent glass were next applied in water blue and pale yellow  to reveal the scratched pattern.  Four layers of glass was sifted and fired with a torch to achieve this color palate. 
Paired with hypoallergenic niobium earring wires. Dangling 1.25” in length. Lightweight 24 gauge copper.  
Treat as glass.  Unique and handcrafted.
