Foldforming is the process of heating the copper and folding the metal then hammering the folded “seam.”  Then reheating the piece and prying  open the fold. The process gives a three dimensional effect.  
Enameling Glass was hand painted in the folds. Next the piece was torch fired until the glass was fused and glossy.
