Copper Enamel Sugar Skull Earrings. Layers of  fine colored glass are sifted onto the copper surface then fired with a torch until fused and glossy.  There are 4 layers of glass on the front. Then a black overglaze is applied, allowed to dry and the sgraffito “scratch” method is used to reveal the colors below.
