THese song birds are decals that are applied using an enameling process.  Enameling glass is torch or kiln fired on the front and back of the copper disc.  Then a glass decal is applied and allowed to dry for 6 hours.  A final torch or kiln firing catches the decal on fire and adheres the image to the enameled metal.  One of a kind.  Mismatched birds.
