Copper triangles were sifted with 3 beautiful shades of glass then fired with a torch until fused and glossy. This process was repeated four times to create the base layer. Next a black overglaze was painted over the surface, allowed to dry then the “sgraffito” (scratch) technique was used to create a design revealing the colors below.
