A fine silver metal pasted is painted in multiple layers onto a geranium leaf from my garden. Each layer is dried before another layer is applied.
Approximately 5-6 layers of fine silver paste are painted on each leaf. When the leaf is completely dried it is fired with a torch. The leaf catches fire (very dramatic), the clay fires out and leaves the fine silver leaf impression behind. The leaves are polished to a shine with a hint of patina applied. Sterling silver ear wires.
Geranium leaves from Spokane, Washington.
