Multiple layers of fine enameling glass was sifted onto the copper surface then fired in a kiln until fused and glossy. Four layers of glass were  sifted and fired on this copper surface. Next a crackling glass is sifted onto the surface and fired for a longer period of time. It creates a unique “crackle” effect causing the various colors of glass to crack and fuse during firing.  No two pieces ever come out identical, always a close proximity which adds to the unique beauty.
