Air chasing involves heating the copper to soften it and hammering with various tools to create the craters to achieve the peaks and valleys in the metal.  

A transparent green enamel was added and torch fired to add character to these earrings.  The enameling glass is sifted using a fine mesh sifter then fired with a torch or a kiln.  Layers of glass are reapplied until the desired look is achieved.   Casting grains are imbedded in the enamel to add more dimension.  Niobium ear wires are hypoallergenic and compliment this piece beautifully.  One of a kind, artisan earrings
