Air chasing involves heating the copper to soften it and hammering with various tools to create the craters to achieve the peaks and valleys in the metal.
A transparent green enamel was added and torch fired to add character to these earrings. The enameling glass is sifted using a fine mesh sifter then fired with a torch or a kiln. Layers of glass are reapplied until the desired look is achieved. Casting grains are imbedded in the enamel to add more dimension.
