These 1974  Lincoln Penny earrings have a transparent enameling glass that has been sifted in layers and fired with a torch.  Approximately 4-5 siftings and firing occured in this process.  Prior to 1982 every penny the U.S. Treasury minted was 95% copper.  Sterling silver ear wires with a copper ball accentuate the penny earrings.
